Rare Herki kilim from Hakkari area in Eastern Anatolia, Turkey. Cm 75x210. Kurdish, very primitive, very coarse, most probably used as a cover of a seating place. Dyes seem to be all natural, except for a suspicious pink. Well, as i wrote on rugrabbit, right, but since there are so many shades i wonder if it could be natural too?! Many small restorations and reweaves. you can see a similar, though younger piece at the Vakiflar Museum in Istanbul.
