This weaving was once the end panel of a five sided storage container in which the people would keep their bedding, clothes and personal possessions during the migration of the tribe.

The design is not uncommon and one used by a number of tribes, as the latch hook medallion is favored throughout Asia. The execution of it here is quite nicely done, with a symmetry of pattern that pleases the eye.

The art pleases the eye lovely saturated colors, a simple yet powerful design and good condition as well There are no repairs or re-weaves. The colors are all derived from natural dyes.
