Very beautiful Ningxia seating square, Kangxi period (1661 to 1722). This fragmented seating sq has woolen weft and cotton warps 72cm x 54cm in two pieces. The last image is of a complete example for your reference. i only know 5 examples of seating squares of this design. i just added an image that has been inverted in photoshop its kind of interesting to compare it to the original, see that the yellows and oranges are complimentary to the blues this shows the sophistication of the Chinese color pallet.
