Aydin kilim with an interesting history. Acquired by my grandfather when fighting the Turks (whom he said were fearsome opponents!) during the Gallipoli campaign (ended 9 January 1916)and brought back to Scotland. Many years later, it was discovered in a trunk in the attic by myself and given a fresh start. Some restoration to one end, otherwise in good condition.
