On offer is a very good example of Tekke / Teke Tribe Turkoman / Turkmen antique bridal camel cover / trapping. It dates to the 19th century and such a thing would have been used to decorate the camel which would have carried the bride. This example has lovely and very fine silk embroidery on bannot wool ground as well as silk, silk velvet and cotton. Compared to many mediocre examples out there, this one has lovely balance and age.
