19th century Sinanli single kilim heybe fragment woven by a sub-tribe of Drejan in the Malatya region, one of the ancient tribal villages now under the Karajaya dam. Very fine, light weave and although now fragmentary, the lovely natural colours persist. Very detailed pattern making in a design unique to this village. DRAGON cause. size:102x69cm
