#6423 Shirvan
This circa 1870 Shirvan measures 4’0’ x 6’0’. It has fifteen panels with red and white medallions containing cross bars of ivory/blue , ivory/red , ivory/green , blue/yellow and blue/red etc. with animal motifs , all on a pale sky blue ground. Each panel is slightly different. It has very nice asymmetry. It has a lovely ivory border with red, blue and green serrated medallions. The rug has good pile with black erosion consistent with age. The ends and sides are complete. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance
