Exceptional pair of Antique Tekke Turkoman cuffs. These date from the late 19th to early 20th century. The traditional fire gilding and carnelian cabochons are in excellent shape; the fine silver is heavy, with a lovely patina.

Cuffs of this style are not hard to find... cuffs of this age and quality are rare treasures. These were described as being "gutsily tribal" ; that may be, but they can also be seen as tremendously chic when worn by a person with a bit of panache.

These measure 94 cm / 3.7 " tall. The cuffs are slightly tapered which makes them really comfy to wear. The narrowest interior oval diameter (closest to the wrist) is 5.7cm /2.25" and 6.0 cm/2.39" at the widest. The gap on each measures an average 2.7cm wide. There is some flex inherent due to the high silver quality but should be minimal and infrequent to protect the integrity of the stones. 486 grams total.

As always, we take lots of good photos; if you would like to see more, please give me a shout!
