Antique large Persian Heriz or Karaja, Serapi quality (10' 1" x 13' 5") with uncommon ivory field and rust field (more brown than red), uncluttered design, very finely woven and very well maintained. Late 19th to early 20th century. Very minor wear (couple small spots of old moth bites and about 6" of loss to selvage wrapping, shown in pics). Pile is pretty even and quite good for its age with good wool and no visible foundation other than the nickel to quarter size spots shown. Can be seen in person if you're in Boston area.
