Lanna Thai Pangolin Amulet: One of a kind quirky Thai pangolin amulet carved from bone with Khon script signifying this has some spiritual meaning. i have never seen one these before- possibly used as knife in symbolic blood letting rituals where the shaman cuts out “evil” from his patient. Probably about 30 year old this is a lovely abstract interpretation of a Scaly Anteater, reminds of some Inuit carvings- but they don't have Pangolins in the Arctic. l: 13cm/5.2in.
