Burma. Jingpho tribe skirt. This is a woman's wrap around skirt of the Southern Jingpho tribal group. Cm 147x85. First half 20th century. This group, also called Chingpaw, lives mainly in Northern Burma, mostly Kachin state and Sagaing area. They belong to the Tibeto-Burman, or Baric language group.
