Baoulé, The baoule masks are known in African art for the smoothness of their features, protruding mouth, half closed eyes. The mask is topped with a headdress decorated with towering braids. The baoule live in the South East of the Ivory Coast. They are part of the Akan group. The living conditions of the baoule are certainly among the best in the country.
