Mahal Carpet 13.0 x 18.9 3.96 x 5.76 a soft red tangerine flower border frames the putty toned field with its small Herati design and the corners and medallion with a medium scale rosette pattern reminiscent of the Mina Khani design. The lozenge medallion and pendants stand forward from the receding field pattern. The carpet has some wear, giving a corduroy effect. Circa: 1910 (3436)
