#7801 Camel Hair Hamadan
This last ¼ 19th century Camel Hair Hamadan Serab Oriental carpet measures 5’10” x 10’10” (180 x 333 cm). It has a nicely drawn pulled center medallion in blue with a boteh filled field on a light tan ground with a small diamond cross hatch design. The corners are worked in blue with chickens and small birds. The major border has a modified blossom and vine motif with touches of pink outlining the design. The selvedges are worked with the woven evil eye to keep everything safe. It is very well done. The rug is full pile and very attractive! It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance.
