Early Caucasian Kazak Long Rug. 1st Half 19th Century. Great use of saturated coloration. Note the 'crab border,' appears to be four birds arrayed around cross palmettes via striped vines. Wear to surface as shown with a few small holes. 4’2 x 8’11. 8 colors, including aubergine. Carefully hand washed. Great wall hanging art.
