Early Kazak rug with an uncommon field design and an eye catching border. The best example of this type i have encountered. Beautiful old natural colors including lovely old greens. Overall low pile with scattered wear and heavily oxidized browns. Few small old repairs. Minor edge loss with cloth sewn all around. Reasonably clean. Good age, mid 19th c. 3’9” x 7’1”
