1001 color Reyhanli kilim just out of the blue. After long 140/150 years on the yaylas and in the black tents this wonderful example of tribal art has reached us rather in good condition. Cm 140x330. Two strips sawn together. Old minor restorations here and there, few soft stains, little tears and a couple of lines missing on one end, but at the end complete and ready to be used and even proudly displayed in a collector's home or a textile museum. Last pic shot on the back.
If i were the final owner i would have it washed and then the old restoration redone properly since they were probably done by the Nomads themselves.
P.S....photos are much better and lighter from real..unluckily on rr appear almost dull.....
