Serap Persian knotted circa in 1895 antique, collector's item, 180 x 120 (cm) 5' 11" x 3' 11" carpet id: K-3611
The background is knotted with camel hair, the black knots are oxidized, geometric design, the surrounded large border is ivory, both edges are woven with 2cm kelim, the knots are hand spun wool and camel hair, the warp and the weft threads are mixed with wool and cotton, at the center three holes already repaired, high pile and soft.
