Please look at the way the weaver used white wool and pink mercerized cotton to literally painted the design. Look at aubergine mixed with brown and that brick-violet-red spreading trough the Gouls and in the borders decorated with s motives. And then take a closer look to see camel hair decorating the inner cruciform Gouls...a touch of real class for this elegant collector piece. Headens have been secured and the rug has been professionally washed. The first three shoots have been taken with a couple of studio strobes with umbrellas. The last two photos have been taken using natural light coming from the window. You can appreciate the tridimensional effect given by the oxidized aubergine-brown highlighting the drawing.
