Old Banjara or Thar desert Indian textile square, perhaps used as a pillow cover or a square coverlet. Approximately 22 x 22 inches. The outer border is old applique work of white cotton on handloomed red and blue cotton material. The center square is embroidered with mostly very fine kharek stitch work. Good condition. Someone has recently sewn a black cotton material on the back of the textile with a zipper so that it's ready to stuff and use as a pillow. In the blue applique outer border, a 1 x 4 inch section has been repaired with a similar textile. Enjoy. It’s a good one.
