Interesting old textile from Gujarat, India, woven bed cover or blanket, 50 x 80 inches, similar to Khes. My source for this textile claims it’s from Gujarat and it’s rare. i haven’t seen many/any like this, so I’m not so sure about it. It’s woven similar to textiles that I’ve seen from the Punjab. Either way, it has a nice whimisical tiled design with elephants, a misspelled “welcome,” and Hindi script. It’s in very good condition except for the nips along the edges and a couple of small holes, all apparent in the photos. www.banjaratextiles.com
