Dayak Sarong: Lovely Iban woman’s kain skirt from near Kapit, circa 1950s, with bangkit (wild mango) fruit pattern, signifying fruitful abundance. Apart from the inevitable few pin holes and a couple of minor frays on the edge, this piece is in excellent condition.
