Early karrabagh rug. Nicely drawn example of this well known group. Bold and spacious. Interesting uncommon yellow main border. Overall very low pile, intact rug, but with substantial wear as shown. Highest quality natural colors including rich reds, pretty apricot and real greens. As found, probably needs a good wash. Not for the condition conscious, for the art conscious. 3rd qtr. 19th c. 4’7 x 7’8”
