late 18th century Karachov. 146 x 250 Cm's. Worn, flat pole, old repairs, borders intact. Prayer rug with two orientations/directions. Dualistic - not Islamistic but Zoroastic. Interesting to see this old religion to survive. The book is written by Doris Eder, in German Band i Kaukazische Teppiche.
