Not often do i find an early Baluch bagface with such quality that anyone who sees it has that rare moment of recognition. Precise yet free drawing, lovely old colors, fine weave and irresistible handle. Not sure I’ve seen the use of multiple reds/browns to add depth in a Baluch bagface before. Subtle but effective. Low pile. Wear. Obvious edge damage. Reasonably clean. Age? My guess is mid 19th c. 2’3” x 2’6”
