An antique Shasavan saltbag, 35 x 45 cm. early 20 th. century. Beautiful tree of life design, flanked by bocks and peacocks. Woven in the soumac technique. Nice colours, inspite of some orange, which is probably synthetic. Dated (13)24 ah = 1906 a.d. which seems about right.
