Dress with various ages of embroidery and materials. Circa 1900 to 1990 Nuristan (Kafiristan) Northeastern Afghanistan Looks Greek? For 2000 years these people have kept the Selucid artistic style following Alexander the Great's conquest. Always referred to by their Islamic neighbours as "Kafirstan or unbelievers they became Muslim from only 1897 and many of the Kailasha Sub-group still worship a sort of Dionysis.
