These mint condition Kordi saddlebags, 1'7" x 3'6", are from the Darreh Gaz region of Khorasan. w. Stanzer in his excellent book, kordi, shows a very similar pair on page 191. The drawing of these bags is exceptional. Like Stanzer's example, this piece is worked in wool with silk highlights. The bridge and back are also well designed and attractive.
