Yomud Eagle Gul 3 Carpet An unusual rug that probably dates in the twentieth century, although the style is usually much earlier. One synthetic bright red; don't think there are others, but i can't be totally sure. Measures 6 1/2 x 9 feet. Has some foldwear in the middle and two other places, and one corner is stretched slightly; does not lie totally flat. Full pile and could go easily on the floor. People more expert than me have suggested that it is a Soviet Turkmen rug, and also that it was made by either the Goklan or the Jafarba’I. i honestly don't know enough to affirm or deny these opinions. But it is an attractive rug, at a very attractive price. Asking $1500.
