Yomut Chuval
Turkmenistan , 19th c (3rd Q)
The spacing of this finely woven Turkmen chuval with a blank elem is quite fine as are the narrow and elegantly drawn chemcheh minor guls. The main chuval guls are just as they should be with pearl roundel centers of the type more frequently seen in Tekke and Eagle Group bags and trappings. It is in very good condition.
