Kula type rug, (or at least it appears so at first glance) Intensely saturated colors including two yellows, at least three blues and four greens. Lots of lazy lines. The border is elegantly drawn and a type seen more frequently on small medallion Ushaks than on Kulas. The palette seems more Melas or Mekri than Kula. The weave is not quite Kula either nor is the two chord red selvedge. I'm not quite sure what to call it but i like it. Seems like it has very good age. The field is very reminiscent of some Transylvania type rugs. There is some old bad repair done with a bad orange that can be seen in the images. The field is low with obvious issues but quite readable. (5'tallx4'4'6"wide 152x137cm)
