these are from northern india punjab region.these are known as phulkari which means a garden of flowers.these are all finely hand made with patka silk used for making them.the pattern of embroidery is sufi work in this the thread goes back in the same place.these piece are worn by women during marriages and ceremonies.these are also given in dowry.these are in very good condition and are at least 60 to 70 years old.the approx. size is 234cms x 125cms.these are still used in punjab.
