Small Yomud main carpet. Possibly a wedding rug. Field is full of dyrnak gulls. White, rust, blues and browns compete in this excellent example of Turkoman art. Measures 3ft 6in x 4ft 7.5in or 107cm x 136cm. Worn in the middle but very serviceable and displayable. This rug has been carefully stored for many years since purchase in Istanbul.
