Natural camel wool.
In the medaillons an interesting feature:
simorgh and the dragon, very abstract the t shape is Simorgh the mythological fire bird that fights the dragon - the s shape.
Take a look on the photo's.
On the border the often called wine glass and saw blade.
It is Shamdan Mashaal, signs to worship fire. The Zoroastians worship fire.
The wine glass is in fact a fire toorch.
Interesting to see that the oldest monotheistic religion survived on low profile in the Caucasus. Even under Islamic occupation.
