Here is a whimsical Tibetan Dragon sitting mat. Probably
dating to the early 1900's or possibly earlier. The mat
 measures 24" x28" (61 cent. x 71 cent.) and is in good
condition for its age, there are some worn spots as well
as a few moth bites. The edges are ragged as the (probably
red) border and under cloth were removed some time ago.
Rich Tibetan wool and deep strong colors. Deep Navy blue
background and a very light powder blue used on the dragons.
There is a rich moss green for the clouds, which are outlined
in strong yellow - the dragons are outlined in a Tibetan pink
and the red is an orange/red. The little mat has been cleaned.
Still a collectable little Tibetan mat.
