Shahsavan (Mianeh?) jajim/blanket. Cm 215x215 ca. Late 19th, early 20th c. Four widths sewn together. Checkered pattern. Very fine wool. Very fine weave. Natural white and indigo blue dyed wool. Two weaker small areas otherwise in almost mint condition. Very rare textile. Found a similar one, but in cotton, in Persian Flatweaves by Parviz Tanavoli, page 285. Antique Collectors Club uk, 1988.
