a very rare complete antique Uzbek silk atlas satin weave Ikat trousers dating to the 19th Century. This highly collectible ethnographic garment is attributed to the city of Bukhara. Such silk embroidered trousers were worn underneath the chemise is very likely a bridal garment, which explains its great condition. Such pieces were often stored away after the wedding.
