Antique Micmac basket, also Mi'kmaq, hand woven ash splints with curlicue fancy work, ca.1900, probably Maine, but the Smithsonian has 2 similar baskets with an attribution to Nova Scotia, see numbers 15/1967 and 038947, a bit brittle but sturdy, some missing and broken weavers, dust, the approximate size is 11 inches x 5 inches, #11239, shipping is extra
