Beautiful antique Anatolian yastik, Central Turkey, c mid-19c. High standard. The original wedge-type wrapped selvages indicate an origin in the Konyya/Cappadoccia region, madder and cochineal -madder mix ground color, natural dyes and thick, lustrous pile throughout.
