Bolivian woman's mantle (iscayo) 39 x 52 inches, 19th century, overall in very good condition with the exception of several small rewoven areas in the center bands. i find the "brown" bands to be an elusive color. Are they reddish brown or a shade of purple? i can't say. That color, however, blends very harmoniously with the red and blue shades in the piece.
