Early west Anatolian small rug. An interesting example of a well known type we see often. This one, in my opinion, differs from most in a significant way. Age. i think this is earlier than any of the ones i have handled or come across. The weave, drawing and color all indicate real age. Condition is not great but that is not unexpected.
