Lenkoran design Kazak? fragment. Top notch color including a perfect grape purple. The blue-grey ground is rare and a great backdrop for such boldly drawn and colored ornament. Dynamic drawing with Memling guls and palmettes. Strangely enough, lush pile. I'm guessing because of the scorch marks that this piece was the unfortunate victim of a fire and this is what explains its fragmentation. Top portion has been cut. My skills as a photographer, or lack there of, are well known. If you like the colors in theses images you will love them in real life. size is apx. 6'x4'.
