World's Finest Bidjar(?) 3 ft 10 inches by 5 ft. i counted twice and came up with 27 by 19-- ie., more than 500 knots per inch. Circa 1920s and it isn't on wool because you couldn't weave one this fine unless you used cotton foundation. I'm guessing this was some sort of special order rug. Not perfectly square-- but not bad. Original ends have a tiny bit of attrition here and there. Aside from that it is clean and perfect with no wear. Probably never been on a floor.
