again only late 19th c but very interesting tibetan rug with a carte de visite design. the woven design is real, not like many of these unicolor piece with new woven thing on them. there is only few knots in the reds of the main image design repiled. the rest ist devoted to your eyes, abrash and charisma. but the red is syntetic....
