Antique caucasian Konaghend rug. Highest quality weaving. Possibly attacked by wolves. Thick glossy high pile but both end borders damaged. Numerous scattered chewed spots very crudely "repaired". All is not lost as the rug is quite clean. Not rotten. All vibrant natural colors and fantastic lustrous wool. If only a rug could speak. Ca. 1880 or earlier. 3' 10" x 4' 11"
