Antique Kuchan Kurd, circa 1875. This rug has wonderful saturated color and long silky shiny wool. The drawing is free and dynamic showing a great sense of freedom and imagination. The wefts are red, on white wool warps, original kelim ends, almost no restoration, and 80% original selvedges. Very regular good weave. Browns are well corroded. Size: 10'4" x 5'2".
