Antique Semnan, woven circa 1900, near Tehran. Rare and collectable, very fine weave, asymmetrical knots, double wefted like an old Bijar. It was faded on top when i bought it and we shaved it to bring the colours up. It looks beautiful now. No restoration in the field, we just changed the selvedges and fixed the fringes.
