Antique Silk Brush from Cambodia - Beautifully designed and carved, this old brush is covered in red lacquer with gold accents. The bird is a 'hamsa'- swan or wild goose that is the mythical mount of Brahma. The lacquer has aged nicely and turned a rich, dark red. a cord of old, fine threads is attached to the handle. This is one of the finest we've seen, and would be a nice addition to a collection of weaving tools.
