Central Asian Main Carpet with large guls. Some features resemble Turkmen weavings from the Middle Amu Darya region but the construction of this piece, including one strand per pass wefting, is unlike anything Turkmen and is probably evidence of an Uzbek or perhaps Kyrgyz origin. Warps alternate neatly from dark to light. All colors are natural. Some low areas but very complete. Nice kilim ends too. a great and rare ethnographic piece with good age. 7'11"x5'10" 241x175cm
