Chondzoresk rugs with this motive have been attributed to Kazak under the name of "Cloudband Kazak" the motive may derive from caucasian dragon carpet it is probably the second most published karabagh motif.it is called "Chondzoresk" after the village of Khondoresk south west of Shusha. The village name is derived from the Armenian word for "apple" khondzor.
